Gelato Making Position

We are seeking an accomplished Gelato Maker to fill a permanent role within our team.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a passion for creating delicious gelatos and a background in food preparation or hospitality.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop new gelato recipes and maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and adhere to safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Complete all necessary documentation and reporting required for the Gelato Manufacturing License (HACAP).

Key Requirements:

  • Background in food preparation or hospitality.
  • Current RSA certification (Responsible Service of Alcohol).
  • Ability to learn and adapt recipes, as well as be creative with new ideas.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering excellent results.
  • Awareness of and agreement to abide by company policies and procedures.
  • FSS (Food Safety Supervisor) certification is desirable.
  • Physical fitness and good presentation are essential.
