This role involves preparing meals for young children in a childcare setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning menus, ordering food supplies and ensuring the safety of children through the preparation of meals.
The Centre Cook will work closely with the Centre Director to plan menus and order food supplies. They will also be responsible for maintaining high standards of food safety by ensuring all storage, handling and preparation of food and drinks is hygienic.
The ideal candidate will have a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or experience cooking within a childcare setting. They will also require a current Queensland Working with Children Check (Blue Card).

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare meals that account for special dietary requirements and allergies
- Plan menus and order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director

About This Role:
This is a full-time position operating from 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM. The successful candidate will be part of a diverse team with a wide range of knowledge and experience.
