About the Opportunity

The Square Kilometre Array Observatory (SKAO) is an international project that requires unprecedented data management solutions. As a senior scientific software developer, you will work closely with teams to design and develop software components that enable seamless data access, processing, and analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Work with project stakeholders to determine needs and priorities
  • Develop and maintain software components for SKA data dissemination
  • Participate in operational support and contribute to fault analysis and deployment
  • Share knowledge and expertise to nurture innovation within the team

Location and Benefits

This role is based in Sydney, NSW, with flexible work arrangements considered. You will be part of a dynamic team contributing to groundbreaking astronomical research. Benefits include competitive salary AU$114K – AU$123K per annum plus up to 15.4% superannuation.
