Senior Data Scientist – Drive Real-World Impact with Scalable ML Solutions

Senior Data Scientist

In this role, you'll spearhead the end-to-end development of machine learning models and data solutions – from discovery to deployment – working alongside a passionate team that values innovation, collaboration, and measurable impact.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading the design, development, and delivery of machine learning models aligned with key business objectives
  • Partnering with stakeholders to identify opportunities, shape problem definitions, and drive adoption of data solutions
  • Mentoring junior and mid-level data scientists on modelling, ML engineering, governance, and business engagement
  • Building and deploying models using Python, SQL, Spark, and Databricks on Azure, with applications in forecasting, optimisation, and automation
  • Designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines and architectures to support analytics and ML use cases
  • Applying A/B testing, optimisation techniques, and causal inference to generate actionable insights
  • Championing MLOps best practices including model versioning, retraining, and performance monitoring
  • Prototyping in areas such as computer vision, optimisation, and generative AI
  • Translating complex analysis into clear, compelling insights and recommendations for business stakeholders

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience delivering machine learning models into production
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark, Databricks and Azure
  • Strong grounding in statistics, machine learning, and optimisation for experimentation and decision-making
  • Knowledge of emerging fields such as computer vision, LLMs, or causal inference
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience across the full data science lifecycle – from development to deployment and monitoring
