Clinical Midwife


About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Midwife to join our Maternity Services team.

This role requires delivering high-quality, women-centred care through advanced clinical, problem-solving and planning skills.

You will work autonomously and collaboratively across all areas of maternity care, including antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal services.

Support clinical leadership by mentoring and supervising staff, and contributing to education and professional development.

Actively participate in quality improvement, research, and clinical governance initiatives to strengthen maternity services.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Maternal Care: Provide safe and effective care to pregnant women and their families.
  • Antenatal, Intrapartum and Postnatal Services: Work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care throughout the childbirth continuum.
  • Clinical Leadership: Mentor and supervise staff to ensure excellence in practice and contribute to education and professional development.
