Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Account Manager to join our team and drive business growth in the veterinary industry.

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing clients' accounts across a regional territory with a clear understanding of their veterinary business and diagnostic needs. You will inspire them to adopt and use advanced diagnostic solutions to raise their standards of care.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in both sales and technical expertise, with the confidence to engage in solution-based conversations. Experience in the veterinary industry is a plus, but not essential.

A proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving business growth, along with exceptional customer service skills, will be highly valued. Excellent organisational and territory management skills, or the drive to develop them, will also be beneficial.

Outstanding communication abilities, with the capacity to understand and convey complex technical information clearly, are essential. Natural relationship-building skills, with a focus on long-term partnerships and customer loyalty, are also required.

Experience in diagnostic or capital equipment sales is highly regarded. Above all, a genuine desire to make a difference in animal health and contribute to a purpose-driven team will be a key factor in your success.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow clients' accounts across a regional territory
  • Inspire clients to adopt and use advanced diagnostic solutions
  • Develop partnerships with veterinarians, owners, and clinic teams
  • Sell IDEXX products and services
  • Train veterinary teams on IDEXX diagnostic equipment, services, and technology
Qualifications
  • Strong foundation in both sales and technical expertise

  • Natural relationship-building skills
  • Experience in diagnostic or capital equipment sales (highly regarded)
