About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our Central Technology team within Commodities and Global Markets. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in improving our strategy and platforms to meet Macquarie's customer needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and define process workflows and business concepts.
  • Act as a liaison between product and delivery teams, gathering and leading the refinement of features and stories with an agile approach.
  • Design functional solutions, ensure business requirements and outcomes are clearly understood by the scrum team, and assist in identifying business rules and constraints.
  • Provide support and guidance to the scrum team during the delivery process, including participating in testing.
Requirements
  • Business or technical business analysis experience, ideally within Financial Markets, Front Office Trading, and/or Risk & Supervision.
  • Ability to understand business process workflows and scenarios, their impacts, and effects on data.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with good attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous experience working with distributed teams across different time zones.
  • Desirable experience using Confluence, JIRA, and workflow tooling.
