We are seeking an experienced and innovative ERP and digital solutions specialist to join our team. As the ERP Finance Lead, you will be responsible for leading the development of finance capabilities in our Sydney CBD-based, full-time, 2 years fixed-term role. You will be part of our core ERP team and help build a new capability platform for a business on a strong growth trajectory.

Your primary focus will be on creating innovative ERP and digital solutions for the finance function, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes. You will work closely with our teams to co-design business requirements, business processes, functionality, and data architecture for the new ERP platform.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our financial operations, improving efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. Your expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP implementations and related solution implementations will be invaluable in driving our ERP program forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the D365 ERP program domain for Finance for the Group and Jewellery businesses
  • Coordinate engagement between the ERP vendor core team and finance teams
  • Co-design business requirements, business processes, functionality, and data architecture for the new ERP platform
  • Create and review ERP program artefacts
  • Be an advocate for change management
  • Support quality assurance and testing
  • Support training of end users in the new ERP system
  • Develop finance standard operating procedures
  • Support end users during cutover and deployment
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a deep understanding of financial operations across budgeting, AR/AP, financial reporting, inventory, and consolidation of group companies with international operations. Experience in retail, specifically luxury goods, is advantageous. You must have prior experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP implementations and related solution implementations, as well as hands-on experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma), project management tools (e.g. JIRA) and agile ways of working (e.g. SCRUM).

You should hold a minimum of a bachelor's degree in finance/accounting, business/management or a related field, and CA/CPA qualification is advantageous. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build relationships and drive successful change management are essential. Strong communication and people relationship management skills are also necessary.
