Job Title: Senior Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality legal services to our clients.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental law and ideally planning, Aboriginal cultural heritage, native title or related practice areas. You will be responsible for providing expert advice to clients on regulatory frameworks, strategic approvals, and major projects and transactions.

You will work closely with our partner Lucy Shea to deliver diverse and challenging work that involves advising public and private sector clients on a broad range of matters. Your expertise will be essential in driving reform and innovation in this space.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 0-2 years' experience as a Senior Associate
  • Strong skills in legislative interpretation, analytical thinking, and advice drafting
  • Familiarity with State Administrative Tribunal or Supreme/Federal Court litigation
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated capability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Experience in supervision and developing junior lawyers
