About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Home Support Officer to join our team at Calvary Kelaston in Wendouree VIC.

This casual role involves providing administrative support to the Home Manager, ensuring the smooth delivery of customer care. You will be the first point of contact for clients, residents, and staff, with a focus on providing courteous reception and administrative support.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Administrative Support: Ensuring clear and timely administrative activities to support customer care.
  • Communication: Facilitating communication with residents, their representatives, and other stakeholders regarding office administration requirements.
  • Reception Duties: Answering phones, greeting visitors/contractors, and managing appointments.
  • Walk-in Inquiries: Assisting with walk-in inquiries and recording them appropriately.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Well-developed Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with residents, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Customer Service Focus: A genuine interest in delivering high-quality customer service to meet the needs of our clients and residents.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in contemporary IT applications and platforms (MS Office, Teams, etc.), with a willingness to learn new ones.
  • Organizational Skills: Proven organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize work independently and as part of a team.
