Job Description: Personal Care Worker

We are seeking compassionate Personal Care Workers to provide high-quality care to our residents. As a Casual employee, you will work under the guidance of our Home Manager and contribute to creating a supportive environment for our residents.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support residents to maintain their independence and exercise choice in their daily lives.
  • Assess and observe the physical, emotional, and lifestyle needs of our residents, contributing to their overall well-being.
  • Deliver personal care tasks, including daily hygiene, continence management, and other essential services.
  • Identify and escalate any changes or concerns regarding our residents' behavior, cognition, or physical attributes to the relevant supervisor.

About You

  • You hold a Certificate Level III (Individual Support) qualification or equivalent.
  • You have demonstrated experience working in aged care, healthcare, or hospitality roles.
  • You possess effective communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as knowledge of WH&S and Infection Control practices.
