Senior Communications Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Communications Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies across various channels, including social media, media releases, and stakeholder engagement.

The role requires strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Drafting and disseminating high-quality content, such as media releases, social media posts, and talking points.
  • Liaising with key stakeholders to identify opportunities for engagement and develop targeted communication plans.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with media outlets and other external stakeholders to secure positive coverage and build brand awareness.
  • Providing strategic advice and support to senior leaders on communication-related matters.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in communications or a related field, or minimum 3 years experience in a similar role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write clearly and concisely.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing competing priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
