Park Leader Role

Land and marine parks and reserves cover over 4 million hectares, managed in partnership with Traditional Owners to safeguard environmental and cultural values. Our parks are home to a diverse range of native plants and animals, attracting over 100 million visits annually.

This full-time on-site role is located in Rainbow, VIC, and involves leading a team of park management professionals, coordinating activities, and ensuring the maintenance and protection of park facilities and natural resources. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising team members and engaging with local communities
  • Conducting environmental monitoring and improvement initiatives
  • Ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
  • Leading emergency response efforts and collaborating with stakeholders

The ideal candidate will possess leadership and team management skills, experience in environmental monitoring and conservation, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. A bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related field is desirable.
