Ranger Team Leader Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead our team of rangers in the management of our parks and reserves. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing park management activities, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring the maintenance and protection of park facilities and natural resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead a team of rangers in the implementation of park management plans.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders, including traditional owners, to ensure effective management of park resources.
  • Maintain and protect park facilities, including infrastructure and natural habitats.
  • Conduct environmental monitoring and improvements to ensure the long-term sustainability of park ecosystems.
  • Develop and implement strategies to engage with the community and promote the values and objectives of the organization.
  • Lead emergency response efforts and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, or related field.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Experience in environmental monitoring and conservation.
  • Maintenance and facility management skills.
  • Community engagement and stakeholder collaboration skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Problem-solving and emergency response skills.
