About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Event Coordinator to join our team at South Pine Indoor Sports Centre. As our ideal candidate, you will have a passion for event coordination and a strong ability to manage bookings, liaise with stakeholders, and create seamless experiences for all our events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Venue Bookings: Coordinate and manage bookings for our sports venue, ensuring seamless communication with external stakeholders and user groups.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records in our booking system, ensuring timely invoicing and efficient management of bookings.
  • Revenue Growth: Work closely with the Venue Manager to maximize bookings and revenue, identifying opportunities for growth and development.
  • Event Setup and Pack Down: Assist with the setup and pack down of equipment and other operational tasks, ensuring a smooth and efficient event experience.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with schools, organizations, and other stakeholders, fostering strong partnerships and collaborations.
Requirements
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in bookings, administration, or sales, with a strong understanding of event coordination and management.
  • Certifications: First Aid, CPR, and Working with Children certifications required.
