Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Team Lead - Engineering to join our team. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading two pods of talented developers and working closely with the Product Manager and Lead Engineers to set the direction of the pods.
You will promote successful outcomes for the pods by supporting your direct reports in becoming high-performing engineers, fostering a culture of teamwork, and promoting excellent engineering and delivery practices.
This is a role with a high potential for impact, working on a platform that millions of customers use every day.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure your team has the right tools and support to be successful.
- Meet regularly with each member of your team and encourage them to become the highest performing version of themselves.
- Be influential in delivery, fostering a culture of quality and trust.
- Ensure software is built to a high standard.
- Help resolve roadblocks that the team faces.
- Look to continually improve and iterate on the agile process and practices within the team.
We use a microservice architecture, written in C# on.NET, with AWS services, running in a Docker container, orchestrated by Kubernetes, accessed by a SPA written in React with TypeScript, deployed with an automated CI/CD pipeline, and monitored by industry-leading tools.
