About the Role
We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Team Lead to join our team at Carsales. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll play a critical role in driving the technical vision for our products and leading the development of innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide and mentor a high-performing team of software engineers, fostering a culture of growth and innovation.
- Collaborate closely with the Product Owner to realize the technical vision for our products.
- Enhance customer experience and system scalability through innovative product and service solutions.
- Lead the identification, selection, and implementation of technology solutions to address current and future needs.
- Work with the Head of Engineering to design and execute a cohesive technology strategy.
- Promote technology capabilities internally and externally, engaging with leadership, customers, and partners.
Requirements

- Technical Expertise: Strong background in people leadership, motivating, coaching, mentoring, and developing software engineers.
- Cloud Architecture Proficiency: Experience in architecting and building robust, scalable platforms in the cloud.

- Stakeholder Management and Prioritization: Exceptional skills in managing relationships with stakeholders and prioritizing tasks and projects.
