Job Title: Project Officer, Prevention

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Project Officer for Prevention. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support for Inclusion and/or Prevention activities within the Incident Prevention and Education team.

The Project Officer will carry out a range of project functions and responsibilities, including preparation of reports, meetings, communications, and assisting with planning and tracking of prevention program initiatives and project activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and provide necessary documentation to support management and coordination of gender-based violence primary prevention programs.
  • Provide high-level administrative and business support to the Incident Prevention and Education team as required.
  • Regularly review legislation, standards, and policy to ensure compliance with relevant authorities and best practice.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on induction and compliance training for all staff and students.
  • Plan and prioritize work to achieve outcomes and evaluate progress.
  • Develop practical solutions based on stakeholder needs.
Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
  • Knowledge of policies and procedures related to gender-based violence prevention.
