Job Title: Senior Events Adviser

Job Summary:

Flexhive is seeking an experienced Senior Events Adviser to deliver and project manage a range of stakeholder events. As a Senior Events Adviser, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of events, including procuring services, drafting and coordinating communications, preparing event briefings, and coordinating stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procure and oversee the delivery of event-related services, including audio-visual, print production, conference suppliers, and venue and hospitality services.
  • Develop and execute event formats that deliver high-quality services and outcomes within allocated project budgets.
  • Write event-related communications and promotions, including speaker and dignitary briefings, running orders, and staff role briefings.
  • Develop event plans and running orders that support all key aspects, including dignitary roles, MC, speaker coordination, venue, and hospitality logistics.
  • Prepare event briefings for Ministers, department executives, and external dignitaries.
  • Liaise with and brief internal department colleagues, executive offices, and produce event-related collateral.
  • Evaluate events, including analyzing guest surveys and producing evaluation reports to record event outcomes and recommendations for continuous improvements.

Requirements:

  • Experience in producing events specifically in the Government sector, including large-scale conferences and forums, high-profile, public-facing key government stakeholder events.
  • Successful management of project plans, goods and services procurement, and event budgets to ensure events are delivered within allocated financial parameters and project deadlines.
  • Liaising in a positive, collaborative, and supportive manner with the full spectrum of internal staff, external service providers, and key department stakeholders from concept to delivery of events.

Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Events/Conferences Management or equivalent discipline.
