Job Title: Production Manager

A challenging opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production Manager to join a leading medicinal cannabis company in Collie, WA.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the start-up and full operational management of a large-scale cannabis production facility. This includes overseeing both indoor and outdoor cultivation, ensuring compliance with GMP regulations while driving efficiency and quality in extraction and manufacturing.

About the Role:

  • Operational management of a GMP-certified cannabis production facility.
  • Manage a 1-acre indoor and 10-acre outdoor grow operation, producing 10 tonnes from indoor and 30 tonnes from outdoor cultivation.
  • Lead and develop a team of 20, including extraction specialists and quality managers.
  • Ensure continuous production with structured shift patterns, including daily harvesting and processing.
  • Develop and enforce SOPs, compliance documentation, and validation processes.
  • Work closely with Quality and Validation teams to maintain regulatory standards.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in a similar role within the cannabis, pharmaceutical, or poppy processing industry.
  • Proven experience in start-ups and scaling operations, with a strong background in GMP compliance, extraction, and manufacturing.
  • Strong leadership and operational management skills, with the ability to drive a high-performance culture.
