Facilities Management Position">

We are seeking an accomplished Facilities Manager to lead and optimise facilities operations across our metropolitan depots, enhancing service standards and asset value.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive facilities management strategy aligned with organisational goals.
  • Prepare and manage operational and capital expenditure budgets, ensuring responsible resource allocation and cost effectiveness.
  • Maintain assets according to the asset management plan and contractual requirements; conduct regular reviews and recommend repairs, replacements, or decommissioning.
  • Oversee all facilities management contracts, ensuring compliance, value for money, and favourable terms with suppliers and government entities.
  • Manage external contractors, ensuring compliance with procedures, including registration, licensing, and induction.
  • Plan and execute capital works projects, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Maintain the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance across all facilities and operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven leadership experience in managing multiple, large-scale facilities management operations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, project management, and budget control.
  • Knowledge and application of relevant asset management principles, government regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster strong working relationships.
  • Technical proficiency in MS Office Suite and Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) software.
