About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive or engineering trade certificate with component rebuild experience on Caterpillar equipment. Previous experience as a Leading Hand or similar role is essential.

  • Rebuild experience on one or more of the following: Caterpillar transmissions, torque converters, diffs, and final drives, wheel groups, hydraulic cylinders.
  • Competent computer skills with experience using Caterpillar SIS preferred.
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety measures in the workplace.
Key Responsibilities

This role will involve:

  • Leading the team in the Component Rebuild Centre in Mackay.
  • Managing and mentoring staff to achieve individual and team performance goals.
  • Coordinating and overseeing the rebuild process for Caterpillar equipment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in automotive or engineering trade certificate with component rebuild experience on Caterpillar equipment.
  • Previous experience as a Leading Hand or similar role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively.
