Job Summary
">We are seeking a highly skilled Multilingual Educator to join our team. As a bilingual teacher at government schools, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing student performance and educational outcomes.
">Your focus will be on increasing the knowledge base of staff within their school about student learning and high-quality instruction. You will contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and priorities.
">You will have the content knowledge and pedagogical practice to meet the diverse needs of all students. You will model exemplary classroom practice and mentor/coach other teachers to engage in critical reflection of their practice.
">You will provide expert advice on content, processes, and strategies that will shape individual and school professional learning. You will supervise and train one or more student teachers and assist staff to use student data to inform teaching approaches.
">In this role, you will also direct teach groups of students and individual students, contribute to curriculum development, and participate in activities such as parent/teacher meetings and staff meetings.
">Required Skills and Qualifications
">To be successful in this position, you must be registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching and qualified to teach in the specified curriculum area.
