We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Equipment Specialist to join our team in NSW on a full-time basis.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. Your knowledge and expertise in mechanical systems and attention to detail will be critical to ensure minimum downtime and maximise equipment life.

You will be working across 3 sites in Wetherill Park, reporting to The National Maintenance Manager.

  • Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Troubleshoot and repair faults in plant shutdowns.
  • Lubrication, belt tracking, replacing bearings, chains, belts, motors, gearboxes, pumps, valves, screw conveyors etc.
  • Planned shutdown maintenance tasks.

Your duties may also include:

  • Routine maintenance tasks.
  • Monthly stock taking of spare parts inventory.
  • Task and job reporting in a timely manner.
  • Cleaning of equipment as per maintenance schedules.
  • Repairs to Pneumatic airlines and componentry.
  • Repairs to Hydraulic Systems and componentry.
  • Working cohesively with other trades.
Requirements

To be successful within this role, you will have:

Australian Recognised Trade Certificate in Mechanical Fitting.

At least 5 years Post trade experience in a similar role working with production machinery.

Ability to read and interpret engineering and workshop drawings.

Working at Heights trained.

Be able to work in confined spaces.

Valid Australian Driver's Licence.

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to use Microsoft office, Excel, Word, Outlook.
