Senior Lawyer - Insurance Expertise

Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned lawyer to join our Insurance team in Brisbane. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of general insurance matters, with a focus on personal injury and property claims.

Our client base includes premium insurer clients, offering a wide range of cases for the selected individual to work on.

  • Personal Injury & Property
  • Product Liability
  • Indemnity
  • CTP
  • Catastrophic Claims

The key purpose of this role is to deliver exceptional legal services to a network of clients, requiring the ability to run complex matters through to completion.

As a senior lawyer in this position, you will be responsible for mentoring and supervising junior lawyers, while also communicating effectively with experts in multiple fields.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Laws or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 2 years' post-admission experience in general insurance matters
  • Experience in personal injury proceedings in Queensland
  • A passion for leadership and teamwork
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely
  • A high degree of initiative, dedication, and organisation ability with a strong client focus
