The Opportunity

Metalcorp is seeking a Branch Manager in Charters Towers to be a key member of our Queensland leadership team. As a leading rural Australian steel distributor, we supply brands for the land through our branches and stockists across Australia.

In this role, you'll oversee our Charters Towers branch and report to the State Manager. You'll nurture and grow partnerships with our valued customers across a broad territory, leading a cross-functional team in external sales, customer service, and operations. This role significantly contributes to our Queensland state business plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a small team of sales and operational staff with a focus on safety, employee engagement, and development.
  • Develop solid partnerships with customers across the territory.
  • Promote sales management processes and manage customers and territories.
  • Identify new market opportunities and develop growth strategies to increase profit and create shareholder value.
  • Work with the State Manager QLD to develop and execute business strategies to deliver positive financial results and improved operational outcomes.
