About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Management Professional to join our team as a Commercial Property Operations Manager. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our commercial properties, including managing maintenance and repairs, coordinating with contractors, and implementing preventative maintenance schedules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver efficient and cost-effective FM services across a portfolio of properties.
  • Manage all work orders pertaining to their portfolio and work with the Facilities Coordinator to ensure open work orders are within agreed levels.
  • Implement and maintain preventative maintenance schedules and risk management procedures.
  • Coordinate general maintenance requests, repairs, and site inspections.
  • Vendor management and supervision, including contractor site inductions.
  • Planning, coordination, execution, and reporting of small projects.
Requirements:
  • At least 3-5 years facilities management experience.
  • Experience in managing multiple sites.
  • Experience in managing contractors on a day-to-day basis and holding monthly contractor meetings.
  • A good level of capital works and asset management experience.
  • An understanding of hard and soft asset life cycles.
  • Health and Safety experience.
  • Ability to travel, driver's license required.
