KOTZUR GROUPis a market leading engineering and fabrication business with over 200 employees based in Toowoomba Qld and Walla Walla NSW.With a strong focus on innovation and quality, Kotzur has built a reputation for delivering high-quality, reliable and cost-effective solutions for our clients, specialising in the provision of bulk solids storage and handling facilities for the agricultural, industrial and commercial sectors.Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experiencedMechanical Engineer for our team in Toowoomba, QueenslandA Mechanical Engineer is responsible for planning, management, production and proficiency to the design, build, test and operation phases.With a focus on precision, durability and innovation you will perform engineering tasks across all product groups and business activities including mechanical, civil, structural, projects, troubleshooting, and R&D.Tasks include:Contribute to resolutions to NCRs and Change Management RequestsCommitment to continuous improvement initiatives utilising lean manufacturing methodsEnsure best practice and Australian Standards, Regulations, and Codes are used in engineering outcomesEnsure products are designed safe, functional and robust in performing their long-term operational tasksEnsuring engineering tasks meet timeframesWork effectively with the estimating, sales, project management, design and manufacturing teamsManage R&D activities within the engineering and design contextMaintain a strong customer focus in order to understand requirements and identify solutionsAbout You:Bachelor's degreeor equivalent in Mechanical Engineering5+ years experience in a similar roleProficient in relevant engineering software including AutoDesk Suite of Software and Space GassWorking knowledge of the Australian Standards and the National Construction CodeStrong communication, analytical and organisational skillsAbility to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environmentExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailWhy work for Kotzur?
