Job Title: TeamTALK Coach

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate TeamTALK Coach to provide phone-based support to individuals in the Northern Territory.

About the Role: As a TeamTALK Coach, you will work closely with participants to develop and implement personalized recovery plans, utilizing a strengths-based and person-centered approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide high-quality phone-based support to participants, utilizing a range of tools and resources to promote mental health and well-being.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with participants, their families, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support.
  3. Collaborate with the Coordinator and other TeamHEALTH staff to ensure seamless service delivery and effective communication.
  4. Stay up-to-date with best practices in mental health and psychosocial support, incorporating new knowledge and skills into your practice.
  5. Contribute to the development and implementation of program initiatives, ensuring alignment with TeamHEALTH's strategic goals.

Requirements:

  1. Appropriate qualifications in a community services, mental health, or related area.
  2. Demonstrated understanding of the recovery model and psychosocial rehabilitation.
  3. Demonstrated experience in the delivery of services to people with mental illness and psychiatric disability in a community setting.
  4. Demonstrated high level of communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to interact with a diverse range of people.
  5. Action orientated, flexible, and innovative approach.
  6. Demonstrated computer literacy in Microsoft Office, and the ability to use and learn new systems, such as Client Management Systems.
