About the Role

We are seeking a Provisional Psychologist to join our team as a Clinical Therapist. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality therapy and intervention services to individuals and groups, helping them to achieve their goals and improve their mental health and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver evidence-based, practical, and tailored interventions for individuals or groups from teens to older adults
  • Provide vocational intervention to increase a jobseeker's work readiness, underpinned by work-focussed Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
  • Manage your own calendar to meet client expectations and workload
  • Conduct mini-mental health training sessions onsite for employment services staff
  • Liaise with local health professionals and services as required
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key referrers and customers
  • Regional travel and FIFO opportunities available
About You

We are looking for a Provisional Psychologist who is passionate about helping individuals and groups achieve their goals and improve their mental health and wellbeing. You will have:

  • An approved Psychology degree
  • General/Provisional or eligibility for provisional registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Experience working with individuals with a disability
  • A passion for helping and assisting a diverse range of clients
  • Evidence of completion of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) mandatory orientation module
  • High levels of verbal and written communication skills
  • A satisfactory criminal record and working with children check (or state equivalent)
  • A valid Australian Driver's License and access to own vehicle
Desirable Criteria

It is highly desirable if you also have:

  • Experience working in a clinical setting with individuals who have a disability
  • A clear understanding of the NDIS framework, funding, services, support categories and procedures
