Job Title

Registered Nurse - Scrub/Scout Role

Overview

This is a Permanent Full Time position (38 hours per week) with NSW Health at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH).

Location: Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney Local Health District.

Remuneration: $72,152 - $101,299 per annum + annual leave loading + superannuation.

Responsibilities
  • Provide patient-centred, evidence-informed nursing care that promotes identified health outcomes.
  • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Work within POD 4, which comprises Obs & Gynae, Urology, Melanoma, Paediatrics and Patient reception.
Qualifications
  • Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
  • Australian Working Rights.
  • Ability to manage high-acuity and emergency situations; demonstrate quick, sound decision-making and adaptability to changing circumstances.
  • At least 3 years scrub/scout experience.
  • Demonstrated computer literacy and understanding of relevant health information systems.
  • Effective interpersonal skills with strong written and verbal communication within a multidisciplinary team.
