About the Role

As a Registered Nurse in our Cardiothoracic Inpatient Ward, you will be working at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH). This hospital is one of the nation's most respected, with a distinguished history of serving local, statewide, national and international communities.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing patient-centered nursing care that promotes identified health outcomes. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Ideal Candidate
  • Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
  • Effective interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to work a 7 day rotating roster.
  • New Graduate Program experience or equivalent work experience in an acute hospital setting.
  • Cardiothoracic/surgical nursing experience is preferred.
