Nursing Role Overview:
A high-quality nursing position is available in a 29-bed surgical ward and 3-bed High Dependency Unit (HDU), with capacity for additional telemetry monitoring, at a private hospital in Melbourne.
Key Responsibilities:
This role involves coordinating and delivering patient care to those with higher acuity needs. Key responsibilities include providing clinical leadership and support within the HDU, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and supporting education, mentoring, and clinical supervision for junior staff.
Requirements:
- Current Registration with AHPRA;
- Postgraduate qualification in Critical Care or High Dependency Nursing;
- Proven clinical experience in a high-acuity or HDU/ICU setting-at least 2 years;
- Strong communication, assessment, and clinical decision-making skills;
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team;
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
