We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team and contribute to the delivery of innovative engineering solutions across various industries.
- Assist in the design, development, and delivery of renewable energy projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and sustainability.
- Support the construction phase, managing schedules, budgets, and stakeholder engagement to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Conduct technical due diligence, reviewing engineering designs, energy yield assessments, and feasibility studies to inform project decisions.
- Monitor QA/QC processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Provide technical support for procurement activities, equipment selection, and contractor engagement to optimize project performance.
- Oversee site studies, grid connection processes, and environmental compliance to ensure regulatory adherence.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize project performance, leveraging expertise to drive results.
- Liaise with external consultants, contractors, and regulatory bodies throughout the project lifecycle to facilitate effective communication and cooperation.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering and project management processes, driving innovation and excellence within our organization.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical, civil, or related field) and a minimum of two years' experience in utility-scale solar, wind, hybrid, or BESS projects in Australia.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles and construction best practices, as well as an understanding of system design, energy yield modeling, and grid connection requirements.
- Familiarity with Australian engineering and safety standards for renewable energy projects, including relevant codes and regulations.
- Must have full working rights in Australia, with visa sponsorship not available for this role.
