Project Co-ordinator – Store Maintenance

Overview

This hands-on role involves coordinating and supervising store refurbishments, fit-outs, relocations, signage upgrades, and store relays as part of a national store upgrade program across NSW and QLD.


You will triage and coordinate maintenance requests across the trade store network, work closely with property teams, contractors, and internal stakeholders, and travel locally and interstate as required.


Your goal is to keep projects on track while stores remain open and trading, ensuring high-quality outcomes meet organisational standards.


Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and supervise store refurbishment, fit-out, relocations, and related projects from planning through to completion.
  • Act as the central point of contact and record-keeper for store maintenance requests; triage issues and coordinate solutions with contractors and stakeholders.
  • Manage on-site works during live refurbishments to minimise disruption and ensure quality outcomes.
  • Prepare project schedules, confirm manufacturing and delivery lead-times, obtain quotes as required, and oversee key project KPIs to deliver on time.
  • Maintain accurate records, progress updates, and defect management reports for all projects.

Requirements
  • Proven project coordination or management experience in retail, hardware/trade, or hospitality environments.
  • Ability to lead multiple projects concurrently and deliver on time and to high standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and work independently.
  • Flexibility to travel regularly and be on-site for extended periods during project delivery.
