Automotive Career Starter Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a 2nd Year Apprentice. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about pursuing a career in mechanical and has a keen interest in the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend and participate in all required training sessions, including completion of logbooks
  • Develop the ability to perform quality servicing and mechanical repairs to all types of vehicles under supervision and guidance of fully qualified Automotive Technicians
  • Prepare repair orders and capture parts issued
  • Maintain a safe work environment and cleanliness of the work bay/workshop
  • Perform general administration duties

Requirements:

  • Strong desire to pursue a career in mechanical with a keen interest in the automotive industry (light vehicle)
  • Ability to learn in a workplace and classroom environment
  • Demonstrated teamwork skills
  • Proven reliability and punctuality
  • Established flexibility, initiative, enthusiasm, and self-motivation
  • Positive, can-do friendly attitude
  • Sound customer service skills
  • Valid WA 'C' class driving licence
  • Cert II Pre-Apprenticeship (desirable)
