We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Clinical Support Specialist.

About the Role:
  • This is a unique opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual to provide clinical support for surgical procedures in theatre.
  • As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with our surgeons and nursing staff by way of training, education, and clinical case support.
  • You will ensure that all surgical cases are properly equipped with the required instrument kits, implants, and user guide as per each customer's requirements.
  • In addition, you will conduct regular hospital in-services on instrument sets to Operating Room and Central Sterilisation Department Personnel.
  • You will also participate in a rotating on-call roster for after-hours/weekend case support.
  • Maintaining and monitoring monthly in-service records on your accounts is essential to ensure records are current.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing expert clinical support for surgical procedures in theatre
  • Building strong relationships with surgeons and nursing staff through training, education, and clinical case support
  • Ensuring accurate preparation of surgical cases with required instrument kits, implants, and user guides
  • Conducting regular hospital in-services on instrument sets for Operating Room and Central Sterilisation Department Personnel
  • Participating in a rotating on-call roster for after-hours/weekend case support
  • Maintaining and monitoring monthly in-service records on accounts to ensure records are current
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a clinical or theatre environment
  • Tertiary education in a related medical field such as physiotherapy, paramedicine, biomedical engineering, science (anatomy), or nursing
  • Direct experience working in an operating theatre environment is highly desirable
  • Ability to work autonomously or in a team and provide first-class customer service
  • CURRENT driver's license and flexibility to travel in Victoria is required
