**Your new team**
- We are an inclusive and supportive multidisciplinary team
- We provide a high quality 24/7 service in our 16 operating rooms
- Perioperative Services incorporate 4 main locations, Main Theatre, CSSD, 3 East/23 hour and 3 West Day Procedure
- Our Operating Theatre Assistants will be the back bone of our department ensuring essential theatre supplies are distributed throughout the complex for every shift.

**Operating Theatre Assistants provide**:

- Patient Transport to and from the operating theatres
- Assistants with Patient turns and Hygiene
- Replenishment of consumables throughout the department including fluid and blanket cabinets
- Transfer of blood products and specimens
- Assist with Sterile Stores, CSSD and our Day Procedure Unit
- Removal of rubbish and linen
- Our OTA's are a dynamic workforce that can be re-tasked at any time to assist with patient flow and access to keep our theatres running on time.
