Job Overview

Leading a portfolio of high-performing centres within the Melbourne Eastern Suburbs Region requires a seasoned professional to drive team engagement, foster a culture of diversity and inclusion, and maximise occupancy and revenue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive team engagement through positive leadership and modelling of core values.
  • Develop a culture that promotes teamwork, fairness, achievement, and recognition.
  • Enhance occupancy and revenue through local area marketing and enrolments, as well as value-add services.
  • Manage centre staffing ratios, ensuring required qualifications for positions.
  • Conduct regular centre visits with clear agendas and desired outcomes, including site-wide travel.

We seek an optimistic, enthusiastic, and values-driven leader with proven experience in managing high-performing centres. You will have a curious mindset, care-based nature, and demonstrate a can-do attitude, willingness to challenge the status quo, and tenacity to succeed while adapting to changing priorities.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of leadership experience, preferably within the sector.
  • Centre Manager experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Multisite or multichannel leadership experience is preferred.
  • Employee engagement, coaching, and mentoring experience with proven ability to lead a dedicated team through innovation and transformation.
  • A passionate belief in the early years care, development, and education of children.
  • Demonstrated profit and loss, financial, and transaction accountability.
