We are seeking a highly skilled Family & Domestic Violence Clinician to join our team at Grand Pacific Health in Wagga Wagga, NSW.

This permanent part-time opportunity (30 hours per week) will see you working closely with consumers and their families/carers to identify support needs, goals, and develop collaborative care plans.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing immediate intervention and emotional support to consumers in crisis or significant distress, particularly those at risk of suicide or affected by Domestic and Family Violence (DFV).
  • Delivering high-quality biopsychosocial spiritual assessments, care coordination, and evidence-based focused psychological interventions to consumers.
  • Collaborating with the broader Medicare Mental Health Centre Young team and external providers to create seamless care pathways, ensuring consumers receive coordinated, multi-agency support.
  • Fostering a deeper understanding of DFV dynamics and promoting a supportive environment for long-term positive outcomes.

You will be an integral part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering inclusive and integrated healthcare services to communities across NSW and ACT. Your skills and experience will enable you to make a tangible difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals and families.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A current full or working towards AHPRA registration as a clinical psychologist, registered psychologist, or occupational therapist (accredited with OTA as meeting the Australian Competency Standards for occupational therapists in mental health), or accreditation with the AASW as a mental health social worker (or working toward).
  • Demonstrated experience and comprehensive knowledge of family and domestic violence, including trauma-informed practice, crisis intervention, case management, risk assessment, and high-risk indicators.
  • An understanding of the dynamics, complexities, and legal and social welfare consequences of domestic violence.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in providing holistic, evidence-based therapeutic support.
