We are looking for a skilled Carer to support residents with their daily living, social and emotional needs. This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference in the lives of older Western Australians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care including assistance with hygiene, grooming, dressing and mobility
  • Support residents' independence and participation in meaningful daily activities, promoting dignity and choice
  • Assist with the safe administration of medication in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation and communicate effectively with nursing, allied health and management personnel
  • Contribute to infection prevention and workplace health and safety practices
  • Assist with mealtime support to ensure nutritional needs are met
  • Foster a kind, respectful and supportive environment that upholds values and rights of residents
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to work across different sites and shifts, supporting continuity of care
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care
  • Experience working in an aged care setting as a carer
  • Ability to relate to elderly customers with empathy and collaborate effectively with health professionals, service providers and case managers
