About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Parts Interpreter to join our team at AB Volvo. As a key member of our retail operations, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our front sales area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update retail displays to showcase our products in an attractive and organized manner.
  • Market and sell parts to customers, achieving business plan targets and exceeding sales goals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with current and new customers to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Coordinate and implement the supply of parts and services to customers, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Respond to customer inquiries in a prompt and professional manner, resolving issues and providing solutions.
  • Process sales invoices and credit returns, maintaining accurate records and reconciling cash sales.
  • Participate in a rotating roster to work Saturday shifts, ensuring adequate coverage and customer service.
About the Team

You will be part of a dynamic and supportive team of 7 Parts Interpreters and 2 Warehouse staff, reporting to the Parts Manager. Our team culture is built on collaboration, respect, and a commitment to excellence.

Requirements
  • Prior experience in a Parts Interpreter or similar role, with a strong understanding of truck products and mechanical aptitude.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Sound computer skills, including the Microsoft Office suite, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems.
  • A forklift license is desirable, but not essential.
  • Capacity to work a Saturday shift on a rotating roster, with flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
