We are a leading medical device company seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Advanced Orthopaedic Design Specialist.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of patient-specific guides and reports for orthopaedic surgeons, utilizing analytical technology and patient-specific instruments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop patient-specific reports and guides for orthopaedic surgeons
  • Analyse and interpret data to inform design decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of designs
  • Develop and maintain expertise in 3D geometry mathematics and CAD software

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering, healthcare, or a related scientific discipline
  • Extensive on-the-job training will be provided; however, prior experience with spatial awareness, analysis, and process-driven work is preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals and teams
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to change efficiently and prioritize workload to meet strict production deadlines
  • Exceptional computer literacy, including strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience with Pelvis and Femur anatomy, Total Hip Arthroplasty, customer service, corporate, or office settings would be highly regarded. Additionally, familiarity with 3D CAD (SolidWorks) and segmentation (Simpleware ScanIP) software is desirable.

Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum
