Rostering and Accounts Assistant

The position of Rostering and Accounts Assistant has become available within our Administration team in Perth, Australia.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure efficient allocation of staff through effective roster management
  • Support the accounts team with basic bookkeeping tasks such as data entry and reconciling accounts
  • Collaborate with departments to gather information for accurate roster creation and payroll processing
  • Maintain accurate records of staff availability, preferences, and qualifications
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of efficient rostering procedures and systems

Main Tasks:

  • Liaise with team leaders to understand staffing needs and ensure appropriate coverage through effective roster management
  • Assist in maintaining financial records by accurately inputting data into accounting software
  • Collaborate with HR to ensure compliance with employment regulations when creating schedules and managing shift changes
  • Provide administrative support to ensure seamless communication between relevant stakeholders

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in rostering and scheduling tasks
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and managing financial records
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
  • Familiarity with relevant employment laws and regulations
  • Experience in providing administrative support within a similar setting
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making
