Job Description

Pantoro is seeking an experienced Geologist to join the expanding team at a new gold mining operation.

About the Role
  • The successful candidate will oversee surface drilling programs, supervise teams, and monitor core quality and contractor performance.
  • Compilation of daily, weekly and monthly reports will be a key responsibility.
  • The Geologist will also design project exploration programs, conduct geological interpretation, and incorporate data into models.
  • Maintaining safety protocols and technical quality will be essential in this role.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) or Bachelor of Applied Science (BApp Sc) majoring in geology.
  • 2+ Years experience in exploration roles (preferred).
  • Gold experience preferred.
  • Manual Drivers Licence.
  • National Police Clearance.

About the Project

The Norseman Gold Project is a fully operational gold mining operation including a 1 million tonne per annum processing plant and two operating high grade underground mines.

The project has achieved six successive quarters of production growth and is in a prolific goldfield with a large pipeline of ore sources and exploration targets to ensure long life and future expansion options.

The project has a current mineral Resource of 4.5 M ounces with many of the defined resources open along strike and at depth.
