The Australian Government's economic agenda requires highly skilled professionals to maintain and improve marketplace regulatory compliance. As a Compliance Program Manager, you will lead the development of innovative strategies to ensure adherence to Acts and Regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and analyze trends in compliance, focusing on associated legislation and regulations.
- Develop program proposals, including risk assessments and intervention/mitigation strategies, for endorsement by senior management.
- Craft project plans to enhance regulatory compliance using contemporary intervention methods, incorporating LMB inspection and audit activities.
- Maintain and support delivery of services under Memoranda of Understanding with Commonwealth agencies, reviewing terms, procedures, reporting, and invoicing.
- Analyze and report on multiple LMB National Compliance Programs throughout the year, soliciting stakeholder feedback to adjust programs as needed.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to research, plan, and deliver LMB programs, establishing and maintaining constructive relationships.
- Conduct risk assessments and monitor program outcomes and performance for reporting to LMB teams and senior executives.
- Co-design, develop, and write program plans, briefs, and project plans; contribute to continuous improvement within the team.
- Demonstrated ability to develop strong, productive working relationships with stakeholders.
- Well-developed skills in research, analysis, problem-solving, and managing competing priorities.
- Ability to design, develop, operationalize, analyze, and report outcomes for Compliance Programs.
- Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to manage and prioritize tasks.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Negotiation and presentation skills for diverse audiences, and ability to communicate effectively.
- Sound knowledge of legislation, policies, and procedures related to LMB operational activities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise tact with commitment to professional values, including teamwork and continuous improvement.
