Job Summary

The , Balance of Plant Mechanical will oversee the erection of the BoPm scope of the Snowy project, ensuring safe work practices, quality standards, schedule, and project specifications.

Your Tasks:

  • Plan and optimize work scope: Prepare installation work packages, participate in development of optimization methods for assembly, request material and tooling, and analyze potential safety and quality risks.
  • Effectively communicate work plans with subcontractors, monitor and report progress, identify non-conformities, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Proactively identify, report, and document scope deviation, risks, and chances, collect One Point Lessons, and report improvement opportunities.
  • Review subcontractor's labor, materials, and equipment, establish a safe working environment, and support the site team with quality management system.

Your Profile:

  • Ability to drive project success with a focus on HSE, quality, schedule, and efficiency.
  • Previous demonstrated experience as a or similar role in large hydro power projects or similar industries.
  • Construction and/or E&M experience is required, along with proficient technical and operational knowledge of balance of plant mechanical systems.
  • Collaborative team player with customer- and people-oriented approach, accountable, and solution-driven.

Job Requirements:

  • Able to pass pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol test, and police check.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and climb as necessary.
  • Ability to work in an underground environment for an extended period.
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights.

Work Conditions:

  • Typical roster of 14 days in, 7 days out.
  • Camp accommodation is provided.
