Lead in Corporate and Institutional Banking

You will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of a high-performing team. As a lead, you will leverage your experience in business lending, loan IQ, and AOM to provide exceptional leadership to colleagues, stakeholders, and customers.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Leading Team Members: You will lead team members in their day-to-day activities, leveraging your technical expertise in business lending, loan IQ, and institutional banking.
  • Supporting Career Development: You will support aspiring G1 and G2 team members with coaching and development opportunities.
  • Approving Deals: You will approve deals in NUW and Loan IQ, while managing key controls to minimize errors and rework.
  • Coaching Direct Reports: You will coach and develop direct reports, as well as train associates internally and externally to enable a cross-skilled workforce.
  • Process Improvements: You will manage process improvements within the team and attend stakeholder meetings as required.
Requirements:
  • Leadership Experience: You must have leadership experience in the C&IB space, with a focus on customer service and adherence to risk and control frameworks.
  • AOM Accreditation: You must be AOM Accredited (Practitioner level) and have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational Skills: You must have organizational and prioritization skills to meet deadlines in a productive and efficient way.
  • Change Management: You must have proven change management background and a focus on ongoing process improvements and change.
