Overview

Cook Medical is seeking motivated individuals with a passion for engineering to join our Summer Internship Program. This 12-week program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in our Engineering teams, working on real-world projects that contribute to the development of medical devices.

Responsibilities

As an intern, you will work with experienced engineers in collaborative teams on projects that align with our company values. You will gain exposure to continuous improvement, product development, and process engineering teams, utilizing your existing technical abilities while learning new skills in a supported and structured environment.

Qualifications
  • Engineering undergraduate students completing at least third year studies with an interest in medical devices
  • Available for 12 weeks between November 2024 and February 2025, 38 hours per week
  • Onsite attendance at Eight Mile Plains, Brisbane
  • Clear written and verbal English comprehension and communication skills
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Suite, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Be able to take directions and follow instructions
  • Take pride in your work with a focus on quality
  • Have a responsible and professional attitude
