Role Overview

The Actuarial Analyst is a key member of our Pricing and Analytics team, undertaking actuarial analysis to assist in pricing and managing the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performs technical pricing analysis for flow business and Structured products.
  • Assesses the viability of proposed commercial rates.
  • Analyzes portfolio composition and performance to assist in managing the business.
  • Prepares management reporting for the business.
  • Develops and maintains new models supported by specialist modelling teams.
  • Supports data governance by maintaining data quality and governance procedures.
Requirements:
  • Specialist skills in Actuarial pricing and analytical techniques.
  • Understanding of Australian GAAP accounting for insurance and reinsurance.
  • Working knowledge of other regulatory capital standards and risk management frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results under tight deadlines and competing objectives.
